This week marks the start of our mock exams and this year it’s a little bit different to how it has been for the past two years. The main thing being that we’ll be tested on rotations that we haven’t been on yet which is going to be a nice little surprise.
For once I’m also a little bit worried about the OSCE – I’m worried about standing in front of the doctor and looking like a chicken in headlights when they ask me to do something like a speculum examination (Something which I haven’t covered yet as I haven’t completed the women and children rotation!)
I suppose these are just mocks and so I’m going to try and not let it stress me out over the coming week. But it’s safe to say that I’ll be very glad when it’s over! Especially due to the fact that I have two weeks off for my SSM and I can’t wait to get stuck into it and aim to get the majority of it done before my deadline in April.
